Accidently emptied trash bin on Mac OS X? Mistakenly deleted files using “Command+Del”? Is it possible to recover files that were deleted from trash bin?
Generally, whenever you deleted files, the file itself is not deleted from hard drive but the entries from hard drive directory deleted. And the space occupied by the deleted files can be taken by other files. Therefore, it is possible to recover deleted files from trash.
When you realize the files were deleted, you had better not write new data to Mac OS X. The earlier you try to recover trash files, the greater chance to get back deleted Mac files. Otherwise, the space may be overwritten by other new files as time goes on.
